This place is unique as it’s constructed mainly from old shipping containers. Once you see this you will feel like it’s a nice example of well construction and engineering and innovation like that of The Montcalm hotel at the brewery London city. This place is new which adds to the network of independent businesses being carried out underground and railway stations.
Brixton is a self dependent place in most of the scenarios. It’s having its own currency (Brixton Pound), Own Brewery (Brixton Brewery) which produces lots of multi-coloured products which you can find in all the Pubs of Brixton. Also, Brixton is having its own Newspaper (Brixton Bugle).

The place for lots of emerging bands is behind the Brixton hill. This place is Windmill Brixton. Also, you can see a 200 year old windmill which is actually functioning in this area. This windmill is Brixton Windmill. This is also a landmark of this are from the very old time. There is a belief that the name of Brixton is after the boundary stone which was emerged by Lord Brixi; however no one knows the actual source of its name.

Also, the Brockwell Park which offers very nice venue for tennis courts and football can be visited specially in the summer. There is one café at the ground floor of Brockwell Hall which sells tea, cake and ice-creams as well.
