Delhi was the capital of several empires; it has more than 60 000 monuments. He is one of the oldest cities in the world. It is consists of two parts: New Delhi – built by British colonizers and the old part of town is creation with labyrinths of narrow streets full of artificers, restaurants and some of the most spectacular Indo-Muslim architectural features. The most impressive architectural masterpiece in Delhi is Red Fort, symbol of the rise and fall of the Mongol Empire, and today – a symbol of the Indian nation. The largest mosque in India dating from the 17th century and it is called Masjid Mosque. Famous monument in old part of Delhi is Qutub Minaret tower built as a victory of Islam over the Hindu religion. Thereyou can visit the home of Indira Gandhi.
