In western countries, where the Christianity is Catholic, Easter is celebrated by decorating Easter eggs and hiding them. Then kids are supposed to search for the Easter eggs. In Orthodox Christianity the tradition is a little different. The people there are decorating Easter eggs with solid colors, or putting some interesting patterns or pictures on them. There are many competitions which Easter egg is best decorated. Also another tradition is the Easter eggs fight. They hit the Easter eggs both on the front (sharp) part, and the one that survive is the winner. So kids in those places are with very competitive spirit of finding the strongest Easter egg.
During Easter celebration period, many people like to decorate their homes. There are different ways of putting some banners with easter themes, adding bunnies or chickens near the egg baskets. All this is combined with the most colorful eggs which are emphasises the great atmosphere.
