If you are looking for a place which has a little of everything then Seattle is the place to visit. Families, team building events and even a romantic getaway can all be catered for at the birthplace of both Boeing and Starbucks!
In fact, there are so many things to do in Seattle that you might find it difficult to have enough time to fit everything in!

The land where Seattle now sits has been inhabited for approximately 4,000 years although it is the Denny Party who are credited with first establishing Seattle in 1851.
The Evergreen Point Floating Bridge
This bridge connects Seattle and Medina and is officially the longest floating bridge in the world. It is an impressive site! The original bridge closed last year when the replacement opened; designed for modern traffic needs.

Harbor Island
Continuing the trend of the largest is Harbor Island. This man-made island is the largest in the US.

Water Sports
With so much water surrounding the city it is inevitable that you will have a choice of water sports to indulge in. Whether you fancy a spot of kayaking, trying paddleboarding for the first time or even a spot of sailing; this is the place to be.

The Space Needle
This city icon is recognized across the world. Take a ride up to the observation deck; it takes just 43 seconds and you will be amazed by the views.

You can see the entire city, Elliott Bay and the Cascade Mountain range.
Seattle Monorail
You may not always thing of a monorail as an attraction but this one is a designated landmark and a product of the World Fair. It covers approximately one mile between the Westlake Centre and the Seattle Centre and will give you a fantastic as well as unique view of the city.

At 45mph it’s fast enough to keep the kids amused but slow enough to enjoy twisting round the Seattle skyline.
Chihuly Garden and Glass
Dale Chihuly started glassblowing in Seattle, the city where he was born. Since then he has travelled the world and become known as one of the foremost glassblowers in the world.

This museum has hundreds of different examples of his work to marvel at; including a 100 foot long sculpture!
Seattle Aquarium
At Pier 59 you can see salmon, sea otters and watch scuba divers feed a vast array of sea creatures; including giant clams, puffers and even sharks. This is not just a place for children.

The Great Wheel
This is a recent edition to the skyline, built in 2012 but it has become a popular fixture and will give you the opportunity to see the whole city and the mountains.

You need to get to Pier 57 to enjoy three slow revolutions of the wheel in an air conditioned carriage.
Museum of Flight
This is one of the largest aviation museums in the US and even includes an array of space vessels. Whether you are interested in space travel or not you will be fascinated by the array of creations on display.
