Lauterbrunnen Valley is one of the greatest natural beauties of the Switzerland stationed in the Alps. The name ‘Lauter Brunnen’ means “many fountains” and thus describes the 72 waterfalls that are part of this breathtaking nature. From them are worth mentioning Staubbach Falls falling from a height of 300 meters and are among the highest in Europe. Trümmelbach Falls, however are a different story, they can expire whopping 20 000 liters of water per second, falling from a height of 200 meters. This astonishing figure can be achieved only in summer time and with the ten waterfalls that together constitute Trümmelbach Falls.

Through rocks and forests of Lauterbrunnen flowing river Lütschine which completes this heavenly place with a magnificient view. Lütschine is divided into two parts, the one that flows through Lauterbrunnen is called ‘Weisse Lütschine’ meaning white or Lütschine.
