Extravagant white Buddhist temple is located near Chiang Rai, the capital city of the eponymous province in Thailand. That is one of the most unique buildings in the world and a true work of art that with its appearance seems unrealistic. This attractive construction is designed by Thai artist, who became an architect, named Chalermchai Kositpipat. He built his masterpiece in 1997 and its magnificent work is a clip of traditional Thai architecture with surreal. The temple is made of glass and marble, and the whole is painted in white. That color reflects purity and glass signifies wisdom, according to their religion.

Around the entire complex of Wat Rong Khun are placed sculptures of demons, skulls, severed heads that hang on trees and other bizarre things. The bridge leading to the temple represents the process of re-birth of the Buddha. The small semicircle before the bridge represents the human world. Every image and every part of this work of art has any significance. The interior of the Wat Rong Khun is in white and has elements with golden tones. It has a multitude of pictures with a Buddha. The roof has four kinds of animals representing earth, water, fire and wind.
