Greek island Thassos is just one of the many paradise places in the world. It is located near the coast of Thrace and the plain of the river Nestos. It is called the “Green Diamond” for its lush beauty and greenery, while in mythology is known as the “Island of the Sirens.” The length of the coast is around 100Km. That allows you to walk around the island and visit the numerous beaches that will leave you breathless. The names of beaches such as: Paradise Beach, Golden Beach, Saliara Beach, like many others suggest that it is a beautiful island which captivates with its excellence. So amazing is that the remains of the ancient city perfectly fit with modern city Limenas, also known as Thassos Town.

Specific and vivid relief all characterized through various coastal and high mountain peaks reach over 1,000 meters above the sea. The climate which is formed by that natural specificity makes fresh and pleasant weather. The main agricultural products of the island are honey, olive oil and wine. The largest port is located in the capital town Limenas. Good transport links by road to Kavala, its short distance from the coast, making quick and favorable conditions for traveling. Thassos Island offers enough opportunities to really rich summer vacation. It gives the possibility to explore the place with tourist tours and to find your own beach on the island of Thassos.
