A couple from North Heaven, Maine decided they want to live off the grid. To achieve that they created their floating home. Foy and Louisa Brown live in a house that many are called the greatest house ever. But this couple calls it “The Redneck Yacht Club” or “Chateau Bathtub”. As the Maine Home+Design magazine says; the home was completed by the Foy and Louise wedding night in August 2010. It took the Brown’s family 10 years to build their amazing floating home. At the beginning as the couple says, the cottage was pretty crude. The roof leaked on rainy days and so. But with time they create and fixed this house to be the greatest. This floating home is their heaven, the real heaven near North Heaven in Maine.

The interior of the home is breathtaking. 55 gallon water tank is used to supply water for the kitchen, shower and bathroom. The power comes from propane tank which is needed for the fridge and stove.
