The world’s longest golf course stretches between two cities in Australia. The club idea appeared to Bob Bongiorno and Alf Caputo over a drink. Both were active at Eyre Highway Operator Association.
The golf course is perched along the 1,365 kilometers of Eyre Highway. The 18-hole golf course started operating in 2009. Uniquely to keep the landscape preserved, driving vehicles is discouraged at the course. On finishing the game, the player is awarded a certificate for playing at the world’s biggest golf course.
