Bazaar is located in the old part of the city and is one of the largest, most attractive and oldest covered markets in the world. The Grand Bazaar began to be built in 1461 during the reign of Sultan Mehmed II. It has existed since the 15th century and has 4,000 shops that attract from 250,000 to 400,000 visitors a day. There you will see colorful ceramics, porcelain, leather, wood, carpets with amazing patterns, gold jewelry, decorative plates, teapots, tea sets and different souvenirs, but the main goal of every booth are to show how you can sell more. It is expected to do just that – to haggle.
