Nothing can compare to the experience of visiting a wonderful place and review its every smallest detail. Getting acquainted with new buildings is always exciting. Their urban setting, their furnishing and their purity is evident at first glance. What you cannot see it, but probably you can feel it, is their spiritual wealth. The creativity works of the people are kept with the most attention everywhere, in all countries. Museums have that honor and duty. These are the objects that are exposed and kept creation from the past, present and future.
Greater attendance of people from China, along with the Americans and Brazilians are numerous foreign tourists. Just behind them follow the Italians and Germans. The 50 percent of visitors are younger than 30 years. Today the Louvre is one of the biggest and definitely most attended museums in the world.

Most people of the word museum immediately think of the Louvre. Probably it is the most famous museum in the world with even 8.8 million visitors for last year. This place is inevitable on every trip to Paris, although there are many other museums and tourist locations. Located on the Right Bank of the Seine in the 1st arrondissement it is housed in the large Louvre Palace. On 10 August 1793 Louvre museum was opened with an exhibition of 557 paintings. Louvre is now home to over 380,000 works, but the masterpiece Mona Lisa certainly contribute to his fame and became a symbol of the museum.

The amazing structure is expanded and built up on several occasions. In the second half of the 16th century, the Louvre was a mixture of new buildings in process and remains that are more than 200 years old. After the war, the Louvre became the capital of world art and culture, which continues to expand, renovate and set new records. In the courtyard of the palace in the 80s of last century was built aluminum-glass pyramid consisting of only 673 glass plates and it is 21.64 meters high. Today the pyramid is one of the entrances to the museum. On the space of a incredible 60,600 square meters the rich collection of works is divided into eight sections: Egyptian, Near Eastern, Greek and Roman antiquities, Islamic art, paintings, sculptures, objects of applied art, graphics and drawings.
