Vestmannaeyjar Archipelago is a Perfect Spot for Zombie Apocalypse

There is a wonderful archipelago that is settled on the south coast of Iceland, it is called Vestmannaeyjar or Westman Islands. There are many islands but today we are going to present you two small islands because they are unique.  In this article we are showing you the two small islands Ellidaey and Bjarnarey which only has by one house. Yes it is true, only one house each.

Long ago those islands had people living on them, but that is not currently true. They used to be islands for hunting and fishing, but today they are only a good place to get away from reality. They are also good in case of a zombie apocalypse. With being so small and away from the main land, no zombie could possibly pass the waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Ellidaey (Elliðaey) and Bjarnarey, Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands), Iceland

There are many stories about the houses on those islands. Some say that they are in property of a famous singer or an eccentric billionaire, but that is not true. The owner is a hunting association and they use as a shelter or maybe a sauna. Icelanders are kinda kinky so everything is possible. It doesn’t matte what it is the true, these two islands are just wonderful in the whole Vestmannaeyjar archipelago.

Bjarnarey, Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands)

This small island is perfect for climbing and having a free time away from everyone. The only way you can get on the island by boat or helicopter. Wouldn’t it be beautiful to have your own island like this and whenever you are done with the rest of the world and all the problems to go there and enjoy the sounds of the waves crushing on the cliffs, listening to the songs of the seagulls and breathing the air filled with the ice flavor.

Ellidaey (Elliðaey), Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands)

Ellidaey was inhabited 300 years ago. The people living in it were hunters and fishermen and they also had  livestock. They probably had peaceful life. The last person left the island as their home in 1930 and from that time it is only visited by tourists and local people.
