Pattaya is located on the distance of around 150 kilometers from Bangkok and it is known for pubs and go-go bars, massage and excellent restaurants. Pattaya, a former fishing village was a true place with an outdated image of strip bars. Over time, the picture has changed. It has become a popular destination for athletes and families as well as for international conventions, thanks to its luxury accommodation and first class service. However, indisputable is the fact that the place Pattaya has an image of sex tourism destination that follows it. Annually receives more than 5 million tourists, of which two-thirds are foreigners.

Central Pattaya is full of hotels, restaurants, bars, boutiques, tailor’s shops and the main shopping area, while the southern Pattaya renowned for its nightlife. Pattaya is popular not only because of its beaches, nightlife, entertainment and shopping, but also because of the large selection of different activities, from golf and horseback riding, to bungee jumping and water skiing. Sports activities, day trips, wildlife, amusement parks, museums, botanical gardens and temples, provide a variety of attractions and entertainment for everyone.
