Waialeale is a mountain / volcano in Hawaii that extends to a height of 1569 meters. The Hawaiian language this means ” water ripples”. Capital city and also the major economical, political and industrial city is Honolulu. The population is 1.392 million of people. Hawaii’s various characteristic landscape, warm tropical atmosphere, abundance of public beaches, oceanic surroundings, and active Volcanoes make it a famous destination for tourists, surfers, biologists, and volcanologists alike.
With more than 11.500 mm rainfall per year with a record 17.300 mm recorded in 1982 , the peak of the volcano is one of the wettest places on earth. Because heavy rains, one part of the mountain is called ” Wall of Tears “. Here there are numerous waterfalls that complement this picture. The only way that tourists enjoy the fantastic scenery is by helicopter. And even so, there is little chance to see the waterfalls because the mountain is usually wrapped in thick layers of clouds.
