Vatican City
This is also known as the ‘Holy Land’ where the Pope resides. If lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of him at St. Peter’s Square when he gives an audience. Walk in the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican museum and feast your eyes on Michael Angelo’s 16th century frescoes and remember to take a photo.
The Colosseum
Step back 300 decades in history and walk where over 50,000 Romans gathered to watch bloody gladiatorial tournaments and wild animal hunts. Although such dramas do not take place currently, one cannot help but to imagine what it was like in the past millennia.
Campo de’ Fiori
Aside from feasting your eyes with amazing art, landscapes and architecture, you also get to feast upon lovely roman delicacies that will tantalize your taste buds. This historic center dates back from the Renaissance. A lovely place to sit back and relax in the evening after a long day of touring round the city, sipping on a glass of chilled prosecco while watching people.
